Radio’s Builder’s Station’s Brand New Vans
For hundreds of thousands of Tradespeople across the country, Fix Radio needs no introduction. It’s the only radio station dedicated to the myriad of skilled trades and tradespeople. There are specialist shows providing information and entertainment to all the hands-on tool wielders up and down the nation. If you’re a builder, carpenter, electrician, plumber, landscaper, gardener, roofer, painter, decorator, plasterer or scaffolder, there’s something for you on Fix Radio.
These days, ‘radio’ seems a bit of an anachronistic term, given that true radio broadcasts (transmitted in the outgoing AM/FM channels) are gradually being replaced by newer DAB and a number of internet based stations. Like most other modern broadcasters, Fix Radio complement their audio transmissions with the full gamut of social media channels as well as a website and an array of smartphone applications so that no matter where your tools take you, you’ll be able to listen to your favourite shows.
Just like most of their audience, Fix Radio found themselves in need of some vans and not just any vans. These needed to be new, high spec’ medium vans and they needed to be supplied fully liveried for maximum exposure everywhere they go. So just like the tradespeople for whom they produce such great content, Fix Radio made the smart choice and once again got in touch with us at Westwood for their next vehicles on long term van hire.
A Pair Of Peugeot Experts For The Fix Radio Street Team
When choosing their new wheels, the Fix Radio team opted for the capable and modern, medium sized Peugeot Expert. The Expert, just like the Toyota Proace, Vauxhall Vivaro and Citroen Dispatch with which it shares a platform, is a terrific all rounder, with plenty of space in the back, twin side loading doors as well as lots of comfort and tech’ up front, but without being ‘too’ large.
This pair of Pugs need to announce their presence wherever they go, so our good friends at Pinnacle Signs and Print deftly applied Fix Radio’s distinctive orange black and white livery, with the colours cleverly reversed on either van, making them almost look like the commercial vehicle version of Yin and Yang and absolutely impossible to miss.
It was, as ever a pleasure to be be able to help out the Fix Radio Street Team with some eyecatching new wheels again and to save them even more time by delivering them.
