Wigan Youth Zone are a fantastic local charity who do incredible work supporting young people achieve their potential from 8 all the way up to 19 in the Wigan and Leigh areas and up to 25 years of age for those living with disability. We have a longstanding association with WYZ and Chris Melling, our Managing Director has supported them since time immemorial. All of us here at Westwood Motor Group are incredibly proud to be able to support this worthy local institution and are delighted that we can use our success as a car and van hire business to put something back into an organisation that does so much for local kids. The vital role Wigan Youth Zone plays in making the lives of youngsters that bit better, giving support where it’s needed and making futures brighter cannot be overstated. Teaching and empowering young people in a safe inclusive environment and giving them the tools and the skills they need to thrive, it’s no exaggeration to say that Wigan Youth Zone not only improve lives, but save lives. We’d encourage anyone to get behind them!
Westwood Donates A New Minibus To Wigan Youth Zone
With a few days to go until Christmas we were delighted to play Santa for WYC and donate this brand new top of the range minibus, fully signwritten and dropped off by our very own Danny earlier today, replacing the older minibus donated by us previously. 
This 9 seat Ford Tourneo, based on the Transit Custom, will help this worthy organisation take youngsters further afield in pursuit of new horizons and new opportunities. Anyone who’s driven a Tourneo or Transit Custom will know that these are terrific vehicles to drive, feeling surprisingly car-like and packed full of the technology and creature comforts that wouldn’t be out of place in a luxury family car.
