Improving on the SE’s already impressive spec, the HSE notches everything up to eleven.
The HSE comes with 20 inch 5 split-spoke alloy wheels and 16-way electric seats (now in Windsor leather), and your wing mirrors now auto-dim.
The steering column is power adjustable, with extra storage around the dash, and you get adaptive cruise control with stop and go, plus adaptive speed limiter with traffic sign recognition.
For sound, you get a 380W Meridian sound system with 10 speakers plus subwoofer, while there’s now three USB charging and data ports for maximum connectivity.
There are very practical bonuses with the HSE – keyless entry, blind spot assist, high speed emergency braking and a powered gesture tailgate. So you just need to wave your foot under the boot and it’ll open.
But the signature hi-line tail lights are what catches the eye, while the interactive driver display lets you get into the dash in a way you couldn’t before, taking the customisation available in the SE even further.
