School Trips Just Became More Stylish!
Did you know we can provide Minibus Hire? This week it gave us great pleasure to hand the keys to this super stylish 17 seat Minibus to some of the team at The Deanery; Wigan’s largest High School and Sixth Form College.
Now that we’re starting to return to some level of normality after many months of lockdown, it’s now possible for the resumption of school trips, sports events and other outings. After spending some time and quite a bit of money hiring minibuses and coaches for outbound excursions, The Deanery made the decision to acquire their own transport, saving themselves time, money and hassle by so doing. Naturally, we were only too happy to assist and to provide this fabulous, brand new, high spec’ 17 seater minibus, provided fully sign-written and ready to drive away.
As a High School and Sixth Form College, The Deanery Church of England School caters to the education and future success of Wigan’s youngsters, arming them with the knowledge, drive and passion which will propel them well into adulthood. With this fully liveried minibus at their disposal, The Deanery now have the freedom to engage in additional extra-curricular excursions with ease, broadening the experiences they can provide to the youngsters in their care. Their highly successful rugby league and football teams, hockey side and netball squad will be able to travel in comfort. Duke of Edinburgh Award trips become easier to arrange, as well as Outward Bound visits and field trips.
The Deanery School’s New Minibus
While insurance constraints prevent us from providing anything with more than 6 seats on daily hire, for longer term hire, we’re able to provide much higher capacity vehicles and The Deanery have chosen an absolute stunner. This is the upgraded Ford Transit Minibus, with 17 seats (including driver) and is the largest people mover that can be driven on a category D1 driving license (older driving licenses have this category on as standard, but those who passed their test more recently will need additional training).
Based on the Ford Transit Jumbo, this large load-lugger is surprisingly easy to drive and doesn’t ‘feel’ anywhere near as big from the driver’s seat. Parking this minibus is made all the easier thanks to all-round parking sensors and effortlessly light power steering. In the back, passengers have plenty of legroom, even more headroom, and thanks to aircraft-style luggage racks, there’s plenty of stowage space for bags. With tinted windows, skylight, USB sockets and cupholders, this classy minibus has every comfort and convenience, making even the longest excursions a breeze. With a class-leading chassis, as well as terrific fuel economy and driving dynamics, The Deanery will arrive in style wherever their smart new set of wheels might take them.
