Ilesha’s Big Three-Oh!
This week, our very own Administrative Clerk Ilesha turned 30 and in doing so left her twenties behind. For big birthdays such as hers, we can’t resist the opportunity to make a bit of a fuss for one of our esteemed colleagues, so while she’d understandably taken her birthday off to celebrate, she was back in today so we’d ‘tastefully’ decorated her desk along with a cake and a few tokens of our high regard.
Part of our behind the scenes accounts office team, Ilesha’s been with the company for nearly four years and plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations. She oversees all aspects of organisation and administration, including accurately recording and tracking spare keys and vehicle logbooks, managing all incoming & outgoing post, ensuring stationery supplies for staff are regularly topped up and maintaining internal records and filing systems.
In addition to this Ilesha regularly assists the accounts team as and when required, always doing so efficiently and with a positive attitude. Her reliability, organisation and attention to detail make a real difference to how effectively the office functions.
Ilesha, is ever quietly spoken and rarely seen without a smile, yet despite her eternally sunny personality and deeply caring nature, is also a fan of the macabre in a very Wednesday Addams sort of way. Our Hallowe’en at the office is always suitably darkly decorated thanks to Ilesha’s very own hand (attached) and frankly we’re too scared to interfere!
Our Accounts Manager Toni Hill was insistent that it be pointed out how much we appreciate the work Ilesha does and the value she brings to the team. Gong as far as to describe her as the oil that keeps the account team’s engine running.
As well as just having tuned 30, Ilesha finished her 20’s in supreme style by marrying her now Husband Michael. It was a wonderful day and the wedding reception was as joyously dark as we’ve come to expect from our Ilesha.
