HELPING LOCAL CHARITY

Westwood Motor Group kindly donated a brand new Volkswagen Transporter which was used for the Christmas float. Mike Metcalfe handed the keys over to Gordon Carlton of the Wigan Rotary Club and commented saying: We’ve gladly been assisting the Wigan Rotary Club for several years and the money raising efforts have achieved over £18,400 for donations to various charities and causes in the UK and overseas. 
Some of the issues that they help with:

  • Provides details of helplines for anyone affected in the Manchester attack at the M.E.N Arena.
  • Wigan Rotary Club and Soroptimist International of Wigan have again joined together to help ‘The Brick’ by donating sleeping bags for some of the homeless in the town.
