Choice is the key word for the new Crafter - it is longer, wider and higher, making it more versatile than its predecessor, and with a choice of three wheelbases, three roof heights and four load lengths, you can be sure to find a Crafter that suits your needs.

• Three roof height options, with the extra high roof offering a load height of 2,140mm
• Four load lengths of 2,600mm, 3,265mm, 4,300mm and 4,700mm
• Three gross vehicle weights of 3,000kg, 3,500kg and 5,000kg
• Up to eight load volume variations ranging from 7.5m3 to 17m3

Chassis Cab

However you choose to use the new Crafter, there’s a model available to suit your requirements. If you have a specialist need, such as refrigerated units, tippers, lutons or a coachbuilt body, there is plenty of choice to create that customised vehicle. A variety of special options such as electrical interface, second alternator and power take-offs are available to give maximum flexibility. Please ask your Van Centre for

Optional dropside.

If you simply need to carry a standard load, the new Crafter chassis cab with a factory fitted dropside body can meet the challenge.

Using high impact, lightweight materials the dropside body is built to last. There’s a choice of wheelbases and body lengths to suit any situation.

• Two different wheelbases (3,665mm or 4,325mm)
• Two gross vehicle weights of 3,500kg and 5,000kg
• Standard dual passenger seat
• All seats have 3-point inertia reel seat belts and height adjustable head restraints

Double Cab

If you need to carry a crew plus your load then the new Crafter double cab is the answer. It has the capability of carrying seven passengers in comfort, with easy rear access from both sides of the cab.

Extra storage is also provided under the rear four-seat bench to stow valuables or tools. All seats have 3-point inertia reel seat belts and height adjustable head restraints for added safety.

Optional dropside.

An optional factory fitted dropside can be specified. With a number of lashing rings, secure plastic coated latches, a tailboard step and a lightweight aluminium body it also has easy access from three sides.

If a specialist conversion is what you need, the Crafter double cab makes the ideal base vehicle - it’s the perfect workhorse.

Window Van

Following 2006’s launch of the Crafter, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles presents its passenger carrying derivative – the Crafter window van.

This model provides a factory solution for niche customers who are looking to carry up to 8 passengers (plus driver) as well as providing ample luggage space and payload.
The Crafter window van will only be available in CR35, but has the 109PS, 136PS and 136PS Shiftmatic engine derivatives.

A number of options are available, including the seating options which allow seating of up to 8 people. However, if 8 passengers isn’t enough, there are still a number of options we can offer.
